  2. My favorite place is Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park in Upper Michigan. We try to get up there backpacking every fall. We've hiked ever trail so many times that the place feels so much like home to me. It's where I can really breathe.

  9. My favorite place in this world is the woods in New Lebanon, NY. I went to boarding school school there and we would often tramp off into the woods to explore creeks and the like. Thanks you for reminding me of those times.

  11. My favourite place is in our little campervan at a local campsite in the woods, it's like being in an oasis of calm and is only down the road! Sometimes in the Spring and Summer we just go for one night and it is enough to recharge the batteries. It is in blue bell woods here in West Sussex, UK. x

  12. Chebucto Head, Nova Scotia, the lighthouse where I grew up. The house is gone now, but it was perched atop a cliff looking over the Atlantic. So many glorious sunrises and moon rises I watched, listening to the wind whip and the ocean roar. It makes my heart sing just thinking about it.
This yarn is so lovely, thanks for the chance at it.

  13. My favourite place has to be Shizuoka, Japan. My uncle took us to a fab tea house and a historical building there. I was surprised at the beautiful scenery there that reminded me of Placerville, CA.

  14. My fingers are crossed, the 22 is my oldest son's birthday so that's a good omen. ;) My favorite place? I would have to say Ireland. Now the truth be told I've never actually been to Ireland [at least not in this life time], but I have this internal connection with this awesome country, just like knitting, and I know I was meant to live there.

  15. I have to second Tracey on Ireland... have never been but have always dreamed of going! My favorite spot in this world though would have to be somewhere near Zug, Switzerland. We had an exchange students whose parents brought me out to visit her, and I will always want to go back to that lovely place.

I would be absolutely thrilled if I won this, I've never won a giveaway before, least of all for gorgeous yarn like this. I don't have a favorite place. I love so many things about so many places. Even though we travel quite a bit I am still finding amazing things about each one. This summer is Ireland so that might change everything because I understand it is the favorite of so many. Thanks for a chance to win.

  35. The most beautiful place I've ever seen I think is (difficult to choose) the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa but if I had to choose the spot of my hearth, well, nothing compares with the view I see every morning opening my second floor Windows wich show me the Hills and the Woods in front of my house in the North of Tuscany (center of Italy).

  38. Dear Camilla!
When I think about my favorite place, there are too many to count - sitting under an ancient larch tree overgrown with lichen high in the mountain valley above our cabin, counting ladybirds on a young prune tree that I planted last autumn in the orchard or listening to the sound of waves under a pine tree merging with the song of cicadas; as you can see all the places are about listening or watching closely... but if I have to decide which place is my favorite of all - it would be anywhere I can be quiet and comfortable with knitting needles and yarn in my hands.
Thank you for asking a good question!
    Best wishes,
    Neža
