“If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy,
if a blade of grass springing up in the fields has power to move you,
if the simple things in nature have a message you understand,
Rejoice, for your soul is alive.”
~ Eleanora Duse
the rolling and swelling of landscape lay before me
homes and farms nestled in amongst the field of green
tucked safely in by mother nature
wheat softly swaying in the wind
shushing all worries away
calm
soft clouds floating above
blue of the sky the green of the grass
such peacefulness

Completely filling my heart to see the beauty of this country
it just takes hold of me
my soul is alive.
One of my favourite quotes, and you captured it so beautifully in your photos. Always a breath of fresh air to visit your space. xo
ReplyDeleteThe world is really filled with so much beauty if we just take the time to look. Thanks Camilla for looking and for sharing with the rest of us.
ReplyDeleteHave a great Monday my friend.
Gorgeous landscapes. We've been getting a lot of neat clouds here in the Wisconsin countryside as well.
ReplyDeleteso beautiful, blue skies, puffy clouds and that vibrant green of the pastures is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOh it look so beautiful there. When I opened this page my Pandora Station turned on in the background. The song that came on was "If I Lose Myself" by OneRepublic. I thought song was playing on your site. I was like I love this song! I was thinking how nice it went with the pictures. Then I realized it was a mistake, but a happy mistake :)
ReplyDeleteSooooooooo beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWow. These photos made my day. Big sky country, indeed! Here in New England, the sky is up. There are too many trees and hills. Our view consists of what is only a few yards in front of us. O, Montana! Someday, I'll get there.
ReplyDeleteAre you familiar with "Knitting Iris"? She lives in Montana, too, and you appear to have a lot in common with each other. She has a photostream on flickr. If you google Knitting Iris it'll be the first thing.
DeleteHi Susan, we are actually friends- we live about an hour distance from each other.
