What are you knitting and reading?
Joining Ginny today.
I am nesting too, always happens this time of year as we get ready to do a little hibernating for the winter :) I like the sounds of your book, will have to check the library for it. And I LOVE the socks!
ReplyDeleteI have been nesting too. While I know it's not going to last, at least for a few days my highs are only in the mid 70's, and right now it is 67 degrees! Can you hear my happy squeal all the way over there?
ReplyDeleteYour socks are so pretty Camilla, I need to finish mine.
pretty socks! what a lovely pattern and color combination!
ReplyDeleteSuch beauty in a single feather. The contrast of the stark white feather against your gorgeous blue socks is divine--absolutely adore that first photograph. I am intrigued by the amazon description of this book, sounds like a good read. I often lament the fact that my "decorating" is never what I think it should be due to the many humans in my home, but perhaps I need to rethink my definition of "decorating."
ReplyDeletelacy socks!! that's super pretty! and that blue is mesmerizing!!
ReplyDeleteYour socks are beautiful, as if the colour and the pattern were made for each other!

ReplyDeleteLove the socks (must start knitting socks) and the book looks great. Thanks for sharing! Thinking of you C. ~xo
ReplyDeleteLovely socks! Beautiful yarn along with a beautiful pattern. I believe it's the change in seasons that gives the urge to nest a bit. I am feeling it a bit myself.
ReplyDeleteThose socks look amazing! I have no clue about knitting but I do feel that nesting urge to do all things Autumn!
ReplyDeleteGreat pair of socks - love the pattern and the colour of the yarn!
ReplyDeleteCaz xx
I'm coming for a visit and I'll nest with you. I'll bring my knitting and we'll have a long chat :) your socks are gorgeous!!
ReplyDeletei really like that sock pattern (although I think you were making some dragon scale socks the other day which I had to start, too. Toe up? a challenge for me.....I'm usually a cuff down girl)......
ReplyDeletethe book....so wabi sabi! I love it, too!
Beautiful socks. So pretty. And that book sounds interesting- I'm off to have a nosy at her blog. Happy nesting :)
ReplyDeleteIt is on my bucket list to knit socks. Though first I need to learn to knit. I crochet currently. That book sounds very interesting. I am feeling the nesting bug. We are expecting our first, and today I walked around the house and mentally moved furniture. I will leave the heavy lifting for my husband! ;)
ReplyDeleteSuch inspiration to be found here today, Camilla! Love your socks, so pretty - and that yarn, well, lets just say I am rather impatiently waiting for your shop to open... ;) Curious to know what kind of all white feather that is? So big and all white! Thanks too for sharing your book, I love nesting season. xo
