One’s home is like a delicious piece of pie you order in a restaurant on a country road one cozy evening
— the best piece of pie you have ever eaten in your life —
and can never find again.
After you leave home,
you may find yourself feeling homesick,
even if you have a new home that has nicer wallpaper and a more efficient dishwasher
than the home in which you grew up.

I'm so glad you had that piece of pie! Everything looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteYour home looks so cozy, and welcoming. And so much beautiful light.
ReplyDeleteYour home could be in a magazine...so beautiful. I love the color combos in the dining room...I never would have thought to add red in the curtains, it looks so good!
ReplyDeleteYour home.... Breath taking!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and cozy!
ReplyDeleteIt looks soooooo GOOD!!!! Have you missed even one thing that disappeared in the 'clean-out'???? The challenge (at least mine....) is not to keep bringing in more stuff! (of course, i'm going to an art fair this weekend if the thunderstorms hold off....what are my chances of not coming home with something? ha!!!)
ReplyDeleteOh my, oh my, I could drop into ANY of those photos & find myself in love forever. Your home is amazing--I love the painted beadboard. Your stone fireplace is amazing--looks much like the one at my parents' log cabin in northern Wisconsin, built in the early 1900s.
ReplyDeleteabsolutely gorgeous, every bit!
ReplyDeleteStunning Camilla! Love the dining room paint too. Everything feels like you.. which reminds me of Basecamp. Also an extension of you. PS- I referred a gentleman to Basecamp.. If a guy from Pennsylvania stops by in December...ha!!
ReplyDeletelook at you go! I adore that shade of green as a wall color, so pretty. I bet you love being in your house more so now than ever :)
ReplyDeleteAdding you to my blogroll. These photos were stunning. Your home looks so cozy.I especially love that last picture with the pink accent pillows.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, Camilla! I love the green on the wainscotting, it's a favourite colour of mine and I've ben trying to figure out where it fits best in my home - it looks so perfect here in your dining room. Your quote today is spot on, thanks for sharing it with us :) have a lovely day! xo
