I frequently tramped eight or ten miles through the deepest snow
to keep an appointment with a beech-tree, or a yellow birch,
or an old acquaintance among the pines.
~Henry David Thoreau
Wonderful little walk we had amongst the trees and the river this weekend.
We just discovered this lovely trail in Big Fork
with our boys...Lilly leading the way
I think this time of year the trees are especially lovely- sugar coated.
How beautiful the trees are, lovely photos, thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the pop of red in your photos, all breath taking. You capture my love of this glorious season :)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, just gorgeous, stunning actually. One day I will visit this lovely little spot you call home, and I can't wait.
ReplyDeletePlease do...and bring Reece!
DeleteFantastiche le tue immagini, ma quanto freddo fa? Quanti gradi sotto zero? Un saluto affettuoso.

ReplyDeleteAt this moment it's snowing here and this weekend it will be freezing cold.
I've tried to make pictures here in the forest, but every time I'm to late.
