So here it is La La's simple shawl. Little late posting, it been finished for some time It is simple and super fast to knit. I think it really shows off the yarn nicely. Got the idea to knit the shawl from my friend Andi- she has a way of inspiring me with her lovely knits. Used my own yarn from Twist & Twine "Aspen" 2 skeins, sock yarn. I have seen this shawl pattern knit up beautifully in leftover yarn too....might try this one later...wink.
So what's on your stix?

It's beautiful Camilla. I think knitting it in leftover sock yarn would be just the thing and I will be adding it to my list to knit. Thanks for the idea.
ReplyDeleteI love it and now I need to add that pattern to my queue, I do have quite the accumulation of sock yarns :) Love the modeling as well!

ReplyDeleteI love your photography of this shawl. It's a beautiful shawl, and the shots with the sunflowers and the light shining through are pure magic.
ReplyDeleteLovely Camilla! I have a sweater on the needles at the moment. I knit two pairs of socks this summer and used up some old cotton to make dishclothes. Needed something portable that I could take to the baseball field.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful knit. You have such a wonderful way with your yarn colors. These colors remind me os a prairie. You inspire me as well, Camilla.
