Winter walk in the country

There is a privacy about it which no other season gives you....
In spring, summer and fall people sort of have an open season on each other;
 only in the winter, in the country, can you have longer,
 quiet stretches when you can savor belonging to yourself.

...and that folks...
is how it's done in my neck of the woods.

Happy Thursday!

  5. It's always amazing how the addition of white can draw out colours that might otherwise fade into the background - like the golds of the grasses and the violets in the sky. Beautiful photos of your neck of the woods!

  8. That barn is amazing!!! Wow, I could drink that in all day long. A walk in a winter wood is best savored as long as possible. Something about that crunching snow and the quiet earth...
