Snow-vember

"November always seemed to me the Norway of the year."-   Emily Dickinson

Oh!
Snow!
Like a blanket it swept in
at from Alaska
 Slippers on
Mittens being knit
mornings dark, star- lit
 more snow
 warm tea and lemon cake
birds hungry
 branches attached- feeders hung
 wet yarn s. l. o.w. l . y. drying
 Christmas cactus in bloom

and now follow me

a surprise you will like I hope?

No...it's not snow.

  2. I am so, so envious of your snow! I want some :)
I saw Kim's post earlier and loved your interview. You already know I think you're amazing and learning a little more about you was great.
Can you share what mitten pattern you are knitting? My daughter in love Ashley [the animal whisperer] would love a pair.

  5. I love snow, the more the better as long as I'm home knitting away and can see it fall.

  6. Camilla, I love your bird feeders! Have you received many feathered visitors yet? Your yarn drying in the Montana air is such a splendid sight. A beautiful poem to go along with your always beautiful photographs of that big sky. xx
