Snow-vember

Oh!
Snow!
 Like a blanket it swept in
at from Alaska
 Slippers on
Mittens being knit
mornings dark, star- lit
 more snow
 warm tea and lemon cake
birds hungry
 branches attached- feeders hung
 wet yarn s. l. o.w. l . y. drying
 Christmas cactus in bloom
 
 
 
and now follow me
 
a surprise you will like I hope?
 
No...it's not snow.

    I saw Kim's post earlier and loved your interview. You already know I think you're amazing and learning a little more about you was great.
    Can you share what mitten pattern you are knitting? My daughter in love Ashley [the animal whisperer] would love a pair.

      I will be writing about this pattern on Wednesday- warning- I think I ripped out the first mitten 5-8 times, it's not easy this one, you just have to be very deligent

      Oh dear, maybe I should start knitting them now for next year! Thanks for sharing. I have been wanting to knit some cool mittens and when I saw the horse on yours I knew they would be perfect for Ashley [she is a horse trainer].

    Camilla, I love your bird feeders! Have you received many feathered visitors yet? Your yarn drying in the Montana air is such a splendid sight. A beautiful poem to go along with your always beautiful photographs of that big sky. xx

      Yes I am finally getting birdies- so excited...our property becomes so quiet in winter time it's so nice to see those little guys on the feeder.
